Pop artist Romero Britto’s company is suing Apple Inc. in Miami federal court, accusing the giant technology company of trademark and copyright infringement.

The lawsuit filed by Britto Central Inc. in the Southern District of Florida on April 6 accuses Apple of using Britto’s colorful artwork without authorization in its products, stores, marketing and promotion throughout the world. In one case, a Britto image was used at Apple’s Lincoln Road store in Miami Beach, the suit alleges.
