Another Mediator Leaves JAMS And Joins Salmon & Dulberg
Weeks after losing former Third District Court of Appeal Judge Juan Ramirez Jr., JAMS is losing another Miami mediator, Carol Cope.
Cope, who worked at JAMS for about 18 months, is moving to another Miami mediation firm, Salmon & Dulberg.
"I appreciated the opportunity to work with the fine JAMS firm, but an unexpected opportunity came up to work with mediators I've know for a decade at Salmon & Dulberg," Cope said.
Cope, whose last day at JAMS is Thursday, is married to former Third District Court of Appeal Judge Gerald Cope, now a shareholder with Akerman.
"We are delighted and honored to have such an experienced and highly regarded mediator as Carol Cope joining our firm," said Robert Dulberg, a principal at Salmon & Dulberg. "We welcome her as one of the most experienced mediators in South Florida to our panel of mediators and arbitrators."
JAMS, a national mediation and arbitration firm, opened its Miami office in May 2012, luring former and current judges like Scott Silverman, Mercedes Armas Bach and Stanley F. Birch.
Ramirez left JAMS recently to work for Diaz Reus & Targ in Miami.
