A Class A mixed-use property less than a block from Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road traded for top dollar after Newmark Grubb Knight Frank led the 18-month deal to a successful closing.

New York’s Nightingale Group was ready to go under contract on the eight-story Lincoln Place when the seller was caught up in a merger. Parkway Properties Inc., which owned the office and retail building at 1601 Washington Ave., was acquired by Cousins Properties Inc. early last year in a $2 billion merger.
