Chris Mobley

Chris Mobley is group publisher for ALM's Florida, Georgia and Texas properties, the Daily Business Review, the Daily Report and Texas Lawyer respectively. Mobley joined ALM as president of its Florida Division in October 2000. He was named group publisher in 2008. His career spans 37 years in the media business, including 17 years as a reporter and editor at The Miami Herald and The Tampa Tribune, as well as a variety of senior management positions in editorial, circulation and advertising at the Miami Herald Publishing Company. He also served as associate publisher/Broward for The Herald.
Mobley last week was re-elected to serve a second consecutive two-year term as president of American Court and Commercial Newspapers, is the first publisher in the 80-year history of Associated Industries of Florida to serve on its board of directors, is a member of the Government Affairs and Public Notice committees of the Florida Press Association and serves on the Journalism Advisory Council for the University of Florida College of Journalism & Communications. Mobley received his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Florida and is based in South Florida.

Jeff joined the Daily Business Review in 2000. Previously, he was the general manager in New Times Newspaper's Los Angeles, Miami and Fort Lauderdale divisions. Prior to New Times, Jeff was the regional business manager for Auto Trader Publications.

Sookie started with the Daily Business Review in March of 1973 processing legal notices. In January of 1974, she was assigned to represent the newspaper in the legal community and the courts. Sookie created the newspaper's Court Pages, making sure up-to-date court directories, emergency judge contact information and bench and bar notices are published daily. She helped The Review publish the Federal Local Rules, Dade County Administrative Orders and Judicial Practice Surveys, all with update services. Today, Sookie manages all court information for Miami-Dade County. Sookie is a liaison with the state and federal judiciary and Miami-Dade's state and federal clerks of court, as well as the various Bar associations in the county. She is an honorary member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and Young Lawyers Section of the Dade County Bar Association, a representative to the Ad Hoc Committee of the Dade County Court, a former member of the Legal Advisory Committee for Legal Projects in Dade County and a member of the board and chairperson of the Public Notice Committee of the American Court & Commercial Newspapers organization. In June 2004, the Daily Business Review began presenting the Sookie Williams Award annually at the Dade County Bar Association Installation Luncheon. Sookie was also honored March 2008, together with Patricia Ireland, as a Woman Making History.

Deborah Mullin joined the Daily Business Review in 1987 in the Display Advertising Department in the Miami office. In 1992 she was promoted to General Manager of the Palm Beach County office. In that position she represented the Daily Business Review in the business and legal communities in Palm Beach County. In 2002 she was made Vice President Legals for Broward Daily Business Review and Palm Beach Daily Business Review.She oversees the production and customer service of all public notice and court information for Broward and Palm Beach County. She also serves as the newspapers liason to the clerks of courts, the judges, and the Legal Aid organizations for Broward and Palm Beach counties. She has served on boards of business and service associations including Professional & Business Forum, Economic Forum vice president, Commercial Real Estate Society and Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
