John Tombari has been hired as senior vice president and chief operating officer for Adler Development. He served as senior development manager for the Stiles Corp. Patricia Quintana joins as director of leasing. Her previous position was southeast division director of leasing at Miami International Commerce Center.

Brad Nojaim has been named leasing manager. He is former chief executive officer of Complete Framer’s Supply.

• Michael Clutter has been named chief credit officer at Republic Federal Bank. He was chief credit officer and senior credit policy officer at Great Florida Bank.
• Jose Solsona has been named vice president, commercial lending at Union Credit Bank. He was previously vice president at The International Bank of Miami.
• Marc A. Berenfeld, a senior partner of the accounting firm Berenfeld Spritzer Shechter & Sheer, has been named chair of the accounting and auditing section, created by the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The group formed the section to generate greater member participation and to exchange ideas between Florida CPAs on subjects related to auditing and accounting services.
Vicki Simmons-Hinz, a partner with the accounting firm of Berenfeld Spritzer Shechter & Sheer, has received a President’s Volunteer Service Award in recognition of her leadership role in various causes that advance the role of women in the work force and the community. The President’s Volunteer Services Award was created by President Bush in 2003.
• Jason Zigman has been named partner of Kunin Associates a professional recruiting firm specializing in accounting and finance in Fort Lauderdale. He was vice president of the firm.
• John Churchward has joined Forman Capital, a debt lender for commercial real estate in Delray Beach as managing director of business development. He was director of Tremont Realty Capital.
Kyle Early has been named vice president of underwriting and portfolio management for Forman Capital. He was a senior associate with the firm.
• Patty Fernandez-Lefebvre has been named executive vice president, chief retail banking executive for BankAtlantic. She was president, South Florida stores for the bank.
• Roxana “Roxy” Sora has been named president of private-client personal lines division for Seitlin a, risk management, employee benefits consulting firm in Fort Lauderdale. She was chief commercial operations officer with the firm.

• Judith Nichols has joined Accounts Receivables in Boynton Beach as vice president. She was assistant executive officer and director of membership for Gold Coast Builders Association.
• Michele Wasserlauf has been named corporate director of social accountability and outreach for ACTS Retirement-Life Communities. She was executive director of Edgewater Pointe Estates in Boca Raton.

• Marc Fest has been elected vice president of communications for the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Fest previously was director of communications for the foundation.

• David Yglesias, dealer principal at Palmetto Ford, has been named chairman of the City of Doral’s International Business Affairs advisory board. The board develops and implements economic incentives to attract new international businesses to the City of Doral.

• Karl Bauer has rejoined Miller Construction in Fort Lauderdale as project engineer. He was previously a project manager with the firm and most recently a project manager with Acousti Engineering of Florida.
• Chris Hauser has also rejoined Miller Construction as a project manager. He was previously a project manager with the firm and most recently president and owner of Hauser Construction Group.

• Gene C. Witherspoon has been named senior vice president, business development at Coral Gables Trust Company. Witherspoon was a founding partner at Moya Insurance Group.
• Joey Epstein, a director with RSM McGladrey in Miami, has been named to the audit committee of Broward Health, formerly the North Broward Hospital District.
• Jennifer Brancaccio has joined Orion Bank in West Palm Beach as vice president, commercial loan officer. She was senior vice president, commercial lending for Lydian Private Bank.
• Dana McDonald has joined the public accounting and consulting firm of Rampell & Rampell in Palm Beach as a senior accountant. She was a senior auditor with Rachlin Cohen & Holtz in West Palm Beach.

• Sandra Economacos has rejoined Citi Private Bank as vice president and private banker in the Miami office of Citi Private Bank Law Firm Group. Economacos joins Citi Private Bank from UBS International in Miami where she where she spent over ten years in the International Private Accounts Group.
• Carl M. Gadinsky, formerly a tax supervisor, has been promoted to tax director at Kane & Co., an accounting and consulting firm.
• John D. Holt has been promoted to executive vice president of Dade County Federal Credit Union. He previously served as the credit union’s senior vice president of member services and operations.
• Julio R. Martinez has been named chief financial officer and comptroller at Union Credit Bank. Martinez was senior vice president and CFO with BAC Florida Bank.
• Jason B. Thompson has joined BrightStar Credit Union in Sunrise as vice president/operations. He was vice president/retail operations for Arkansas Federal Credit Union.

Wilfredo Jauregui joined the bank as senior vice president and senior lending officer. Jauregui was director and business development for Advisory Services and senior vice president at Bank United, FSB Coral Gables.

Raul M. Camaliche has joined the bank as senior vice president and chief operating officer. Camaliche was vice president chief operating officer at Bancafe International Miami Agency.

Jack Lantz has been named senior vice president and BSA and compliance officer. Lantz was senior compliance manager at Bank of America.

Justo Fanjul has joined as senior vice president of Ocean Bank’s Brickell Avenue wealth management office. Most recently, he was senior vice president at BNP Paribas.

Miguel A. Cervoni has also been named senior vice president of Ocean Bank’s wealth management division. Before joining Ocean Bank, Cervoni spent 18 years with Citigroup, most recently as head of Citibank/International personal banking Latin America division in Fort Lauderdale.

Maria Florencia Calcena, Gisela Cros, Lina Mendoza and Bengt M. Seiplax have all been named vice president and personal banking officer.

Most recently, Calcena was a relationship manager for BBVA Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria.

Cros was premier relationship manager for HSBC Bank USA.

Before joining Ocean Bank, Mendoza was the director of private wealth management for American Express Bank International.

Seiplax is a former international premier relationship manager at HSBC Bank USA.

Luciano Humberto has been named manager of the advisory, litigation, valuation and forensic accounting department at Kaufman Rossin & Co. Previously, Humberto was a computer forensics and systems auditing manager with Berenfeld Spritzer Shechter & Sheer in Sunrise.

• Magalie Austin, assistant dean of career planning and placement at Florida International University, has been appointed to the Performing Arts Center Trust Board of Directors.

• Paul George, a Miami Dade College professor, was presented with the Miami Woman's Club Historian of the Year award. George is a historian for the Historical Museum of Southern Florida and serves as vice chairman of Miami’s Heritage Conservation board.

• Adrienne Arsht has been named chairman emerita of TotalBank in honor of her 11-year tenure with the bank.
Also, Maria Elena Alvarez joined the bank as vice president and business development officer. Alvarez was a retail banking executive with Great Florida Bank in Miami.
• Bob Feldmann, a partner, and Brett Friedman, a director at McGladrey & Pullen, an accounting firm in Miami, has joined Florida International University’s advisory board for the school of accounting.

• Esslinger Wooten Maxwell added four sales associates in its southwest Broward office. They are Ruby Facinelli, Argelia Garban, Eric Johnson and Trish MacDonald.

• Joaquin Arguello has been named senior vice president at BAC Florida Bank. He will oversee the bank’s domestic banking division. Arguello was senior vice president and market manager at BankUnited.
• Jeffrey P. White has joined Northern Trust as vice president and private banking relationship manager in North Palm Beach. He was vice president of SunTrust’s Private Wealth Management Group in Palm Beach.
• Manoella Martin has joined Florida Shores Bank in Pompano Beach as vice president of retail banking. Martin was a manager and investment representative with Huntington National Bank and Huntington Investment Co.
• Dhanpaul Singh has been named manager of Commerce Bank’s Riviera Beach office. He previously worked for Commerce Bank in New York.
• Great Florida Bank has announced the addition of several professionals:
Barbara Brick was named assistant Bank Secrecy Act officer. Brick was vice president and financial intelligence unit manager with Bank Atlantic in Fort Lauderdale.
Pedro Villa, formerly an independent business consultant, joined Great Florida as business banking relationship manager in Doral.
Lincoln Pettaway was named relationship manager for the Miami Beach branch in South Beach. Pettaway previously worked in financial sales and marketing with SunTrust Bank in Miami.
Gregory Daniels was appointed commercial banking relationship manager in Deerfield Beach. Daniels was vice president of corporate banking with Commercebank in Coral Gables.

• Morrison Brown Argiz & Farra, an accounting firm, has promoted Hal Feldman, Alicia Koross and Tony Martell to directors in Miami.
