The Akerman law firm is making a six-year pledge of $1 million to the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association.
The pledge—the largest by a law firm in the nonprofit’s 38-year history—will support the National CASA Association’s work with current and former foster children and guardian ad litem programs. It also will establish the Akerman Academic Scholarship for Foster Youth to help fund college for former foster children.
