Laremy Tunsil was an elite prospect, projected to cash in after being drafted early in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft.

Immediately before the draft began, however, video of Tunsil apparently smoking marijuana appeared on his Twitter account. In response to what was seemingly the work of a hacker, Tunsil went into spin control to explain the video and address the critical questions of his credibility, judgment and fitness to play in the NFL. Ultimately, Tunsil was selected with the 13th overall pick by the Miami Dolphins, costing him perhaps $7 million to 10 million in overall compensation.
