Two long-awaited rulings impacting the Telephone Consumer Protection Act were released last month.
On May 6, the Federal Communications Commission issued its notice of proposed rulemaking, or NPR, in response to Congress’s passage of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015, setting rules and requesting comments regarding the Budget Act’s new exemption from the TCPA for certain calls.
