A Florida Senate subcommittee granted an early victory Wednesday to the Miami Dolphins and supporters of a $400 million Sun Life Stadium renovation program.
The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Finance and Tax unanimously passed a pair of bills that would allow an annual $3 million rebate on sales tax revenue collected at the stadium and allow Miami-Dade County to increase bed tax collections to fund stadium improvements.
