Board of Contributors: U.S. justices take up appeal of 11th Circuit state-action ruling

Having lost its argument at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Federal Trade commission is taking its case of a hospital merger to the U.S. Supreme Court, which will hear about state-action immunity under antitrust laws for the first time in 20 years.
