The former home of the Miami Arena is currently being used as a park, but the property could eventually be incorporated into the city’s next wave of development.
Arena Ventures LLC, a Wellington company managed by longtime property owner Glenn Straub, has sold the 4-acre site of the former Miami Arena for $35 million, according to Miami-Dade County records. The buyer of the property at 700 N. Miami Ave. is Old Arena LLC, which is managed by Boca Raton-based Falcone Group.
