A closed sanctions hearing scheduled for today will address 2,600 alerts requested by investors who sued TD Bank over the Ponzi scheme perpetrated by Scott Rothstein.
Thousands of previously undisclosed alerts were mentioned May 17 at a hearing before U.S. District Judge Marcia Cooke in Miami on whether sanctions should be levied against TD Bank and its previous trial counsel, Greenberg Traurig, for discovery violations.
