Attorney Marc Nurik said Wednesday that he has received only $100,000 for $1.35 million in legal bills he has generated defending convicted Ponzi scammer Scott Rothstein since October 2009.
Now, the Fort Lauderdale lawyer wants U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Raymond Ray to order 34 lawyers who sat in on Rothstein’s two-week deposition in December to share the cost of the 108 hours he spent on the deposition for a total of $54,150.
