A fifth NFL player is suing Greenberg Traurig and one of its West Palm Beach partners, claiming he was duped into investing in a failed Alabama casino deal that Greenberg failed to warn him about.
Mike Peterson, a linebacker on injured reserve with the Atlanta Falcons, filed suit last week against Greenberg and partner Pamela Linden in Palm Beach Circuit Court. Similar suits have been filed by Terrell Owens, Clinton Portis, Roscoe Parrish and Duane Starks, and more are expected.
