A flurry of year-end real estate deals in South Florida continues with the most expensive Miami-Dade County office sale since August.

New York-based insurance giant MetLife sold five buildings in the Waterford at Blue Lagoon office park south of Miami International Airport for about $44 million Tuesday, according to Miami-Dade County records. The county recorded the sale Wednesday of the buildings totaling 372,673 square feet, or nearly $118 per square foot.
