An Argentina law firm has filed suit against Miami plaintiff lawyer Jeremy Alters and his law firm, claiming it landed the client but has not been compensated in a class action overdraft fee suit that produced a proposed $410 million settlement with Bank of America.

In a suit filed March 9 in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, the law firm Campos y Asociados and lawyer Adrian Campos claim Alters entered into a collaborative agreement with the firm in 2008 to develop business in Argentina and refer clients to Alters. He was supposed to pay the firm $30,000 a month for two years but paid for only two months, according to the suit.
