Duane Morris Chairman Sheldon Bonovitz is making good on his plan to grow the 600-attorney firm to more than 1,000 lawyers with offices across the globe. The latest move gives the firm a six-attorney outpost in Singapore and plans for two Vietnam offices by the spring of 2007. According to Bonovitz, Duane Morris will be one of the top five U.S. firms in Singapore, and when its offices open in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Duane Morris will be one of only two U.S.-based firms in Vietnam.The group filed what appears to be its first amicus brief, urging the Second Circuit to uphold U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff's controversial rejection of the SEC's $285 million settlement with Citigroup.
