Several city governments in South Florida are under fire over their relationships with businesses, ranging from the City of Hallandale Beach over allegations of knowingly and willfully violating a restrictive covenant running with the land, to the City of Miami, in which a commissioner was hit with a $63.5 million verdict by a state court jury over retaliatory actions.

Now, the City of Miramar is the latest to face legal action in a case pending before Broward Circuit Judge Frink Keathan.
