The Third District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission submitted its finalists to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who could choose one to fill the vacancy created by the death of Judge Eric Wm. Hendon.
“I am grateful for and honored by the confidence and trust the members of the Judicial Nominating Commission have shown by their nomination,” said finalist Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Robert T. Watson. “I very much look forward to speaking with the Governor’s Office about my strong interest in continuing to serve our community on the appellate court.”
